Excellent reading copy. Text is clean and unmarked. Spine top of book has a faded spot to its corner. There is a clever book plate (hand written) which admonishes: "Steal not this book my honest friend, for fear the gallows be your end. And what an awful thing 'twould be, to see you hanging on a tree..." Dj is missing a 1" x 3" piece from the spine bottom and there is hole in the front panel of about a 14" square. Dh has mutiple small tears to edges and shelfwear to spine top and to corners. Dj is clean and bright w/ rubbing, shelfwear and a 3" tear to leading edge.
